CodeShare Civics is how we operate. It means government by version controlled repositories. Residents can read every draft, follow every commit, and help us turn bold ideas into deployable public services.

We work in the open on purpose. The more eyes, skills, and lived experience we invite into the process, the stronger Saskatchewan’s next century becomes.

CodeShare Civics

We treat government like shared infrastructure. CodeShare Civics moves legislation, regulations, datasets, and delivery plans into a version-controlled public repository so every resident can inspect the work, test assumptions, and propose improvements.

Fork the Blueprint

  • Read the full 21 Policies, cost models, and implementation notes from a single source of truth.
  • Watch change logs and release tags to see how ideas mature from draft to deployment.
  • Use datasets, diagrams, and models in your own community projects.

Contribute in Public

  • Open issues to flag gaps, risks, or real-world constraints we may have missed.
  • Submit pull requests with research, new language, or tooling that strengthens delivery.
  • Join review sprints so major merges reflect Saskatchewan expertise.

Build Shared Norms

  • Sign contributions, follow our civic code of conduct, and keep the record transparent.
  • Help us design verification standards so public servants, unions, and residents can collaborate safely.
  • Prototype the future git.saskatchewan.ca platform before we bring it in-house.

Volunteer
